Obituary
Zada M. Hancock
Funeral for Zada M. Hancock will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Hancock, a retired Clark County Courthouse switchboard operator, died Saturday in a Portland hospital. She was 77.
Mrs. Hancock was born in Mercer, Mo., and had been a 41 year Vancouver resident. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge 175 in Orchards.
Mrs. Hancock is survived by her husband, Marion; a son, Dick Hancock of Vancouver; a daughter, Barbara Jones of Vancouver; sisters, Phyllis Bennet of Ottumwa, Iowa and Rosetta Pazevich of Rathbun, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Riverview Abbey Funeral Home Mausoleum in Portland.
The family suggests memorials be contributions to the American Diabetes Association, Washington Affiliate Inc., 1218 Terry Ave., Seattle, Wash. 98101.
