Hannah Pike was baptized September 12, 1714, in Essex county, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Robert and Hannah (Gilman) Pike of that town. She is a direct descendant of Robert Pike who was the most influential person to put an end to the witchcraft trials of early Massachusetts history. Hannah and Charles were married about 1755. Her grave was the first made in the North Church Cemetery.
