Adam Sines, a resident of Delphi for many years, died at his home Tuesday noon. Mr. Sines was 73 years of age. He had been in ill health for a number of months and his death was due to a complication of diseases. For a number of years Mr. Sines operated a little lunchroom near the interurban station. Many years ago, he operated a hack and took parties over the country. He is survived by his widow. He leaves many friends, who deeply mourn his passing.

Mr. and Mrs. Sines had no children of their own but their kind hearts prompted them to take two orphans children, Elizabeth and William Whitaker, into their home and rear them both. Miss Elizabeth Whitaker still lives in their home, helping to care for them, William having died some years ago.

Besides his wife, Mr. Sines leaves two brothers, Thomas, of Delphi, and John W., of Flora, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Nipple, of Burrows.

The services were held Thursday at the Methodist church, of which he was a member. Rev. R. O. Kimberlin officiated and the Odd Fellows lodge assisted. Burial was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
