In Memory of Laurie Louise Price
December 21, 1950 - June 22, 2016

Obituary - Laurie Louise Bringhurst Price, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and mom to so many others, passed away unexpectedly the evening of June 22, 2016 while celebrating with family. Laurie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Keith and Mary Bringhurst on December 21, 1950. Laurie graduated from Skyline High School in 1969. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Lynn Price on October 23, 1970. Laurie and Gary are soul mates, no doubt. Laurie is preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Mary Bringhurst, her brother Richard Bringhurst, and granddaughter, Madison Mary McGuire.

Laurie was the grand matriarch of her tight knit family and offered unconditional love. For Laurie, her family meant everything and a tight knit family defined good living. Laurie was uncompromising in pursuit of her family's happiness and well-being. She was a self-less woman, inclusive and accepting of so many people, and her spirit and laugh are unforgettable. Her open-minded disposition brought so many along with her.

Laurie longed to be a grandmother. In 2000, she was instantly blessed with twins and triplets, followed by five more grandchildren in the years that followed. Her grandchildren are a source of so much pride. Laurie loved adventure, travel, movies, books, music, good wine, and spending countless hours with her ever-expanding family. Laurie brought joy and gave love to so many of us; we are lucky to have shared this life with her. Her spirit will live on in all those who knew and loved her.

Laurie is survived by her husband and best friend of 46 years, Gary Lynn Price; four children, Heather (Robert) Troutman, Noah (Robert) Price-Baker, Jamie (Mac) McGuire, Kelli (Jeremy) Smith; and nine grandchildren, Brooklyn, Benjamin and Brendan Troutman, Mackenzie and Joey McGuire, and Zack, Hunter, Walker and Mason Smith; and brother Paul Bringhurst.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Laurie's funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 11:00 am, with visitation services from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.

A celebration of Laurie's life will take place at her home following the services.
