Norma Cunningham Altman, age 87 of Dallas, entered heaven on June 22, 2016. She was born October 13, 1928 in Dallas, TX to David and Thelma Cunningham. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and was baptized at an early age. Her life was a reflection of that faith. She loved people and had a special place in her heart for those who were less privileged. She was known for love of birds, animals and the outdoors. She enjoyed watching sports, but most of all, spending time with loving family and friends. Norma met her husband while working at American Home Equipment Company. She was a member of the Farmer's Branch Women's Club and The North Dallas Garden Club for many years, where she met and enjoyed the company of many friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert Altman, parents, and sister, Gloria McElroy. She is survived by several nieces, one nephew, several cousins and a multitude of dear friends who will miss her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 beginning at 11am at the Hughes Family Tribute Center followed by the funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment will be held at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
