John Rivers, a well known chauffeur in Niagara Falls, died suddenly of acute indigestion at his home, 235 Duane avenue, La Salle.
Mr. Rivers was 36 years old. He was born in Ogdensburg, NY but had moved to this city eight years ago.
For the last several years he operated a taxicab stand in Riverway. He was a member of the Falls Moose Lodge.
Mr. Rivers was married to the former Loretta Gratto. He and Loretta had two daughters, Lena, age 12 and Genevieve, age 6.
He also left behind his father, Daniel Rivers and sister Mrs. Benjamin Gascon who both live in Rochester. His brother Daniel Rivers, Jr. still lives in Ogdensburg.
His sisters Mrs. David (Maude) Deshaies and Miss Elizabeth Rivers both reside in Massena, NY. His sister Ida Duprey lives in Detroit, Mich.
