Mrs. Bertha Rivers Gascon died Dec. 12th. She was the widow of Benjamin Gascon. She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Florence Thompson, Mrs. Mae Brothers of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Doris Sharkey, Mrs. E. Truman Ellis, Mrs. R.C. Keeney of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Jean Sheridan, and Mrs. Nicholas Mattner; by 22 grandchildren; by 7 great-grandchildren; by a sister, Mrs. Joseph DeShaies; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Lawrence Gascon in 1934. Funeral services were at St. Joseph's French Church.
