Mrs. Harriett Weber, wife of Charles F. Weber Sr. founder of the Rug Shop, 611 Main, died Tuesday in Doctor's hospital, Coral Gables, Fla., after an illness of a year. The Webers maintained a residence here at 506 Calvert.
Born at Lafayette, Mrs. Weber was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed church. She was married to Mr. Weber in 1900 and had lived here until she and her husband moved to Coral Gables 22 years ago.
Surviving with the husband are a son, Charles F. Weber Jr. of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth M. Ogborn of Springfield, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Grace E. Ives of Lansing, Mich. The body will be sent to Lafayette.
