A native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a longtime resident of College Park, Georgia, Mrs. Dodson graduated from Girls High School and for many years was an employee of Rich's Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Young Dodson, her son, Roland Scott Dodson, and her grandson, Tyler Jack Dodson. She is survived by her son, two daughter-in-laws, and her grandchildren. She was appreciated by her family and friends and will be missed by all. Visitation took place Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Patterson Spring Chapel. The funeral service was held Monday, April 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son, 1020 Spring Street, N.W. Atlanta, Georgia. Following the funeral service the burial took place at North Atlanta Memorial Park, 5188 Winter's Chapel Rd., Dunwoody, GA.
