Announcement was made in last week's issue of the death of Mrs. C A Cutler at Lincoln and on last Friday the remains arrived here accompanied by Mr. Cutler and Mrs. Geo Cutler, after which they were taken to the farm home. Funeral services were conducted at the house on Sunday morning by Rev B H Marshell, after which the remains were taken to Bartlett where services were conducted at the church by Rev Primrose, assisted by Rev Taylor and Rev Marshall. Interment was made in the Bartlett cemetery.
Augusta C Ellis was born at Ft Dodge, Iowa, Aug. 24, 1866, and passed away at L V Senn's home at Lincoln, February 28, 1918, at the age of 51 years, 6 months and 4 days.

Augusta Ellis came to Nebraska when eight years of age with her parents and settled near Malcolm, Lancaster county, Nebr. She came to Greeley county in 1882 and was there united in marriage to C A Cutler on January 29, 1884. In the spring of 1887 they moved to near Bartlett, and have lived in this vicinity every since. To this union was born five children, two girls and three boys, two of which passed away in childhood. The three remaining are Mrs. T.H. Whitlock, George and Wallace Cutler, all of this county.

Mrs. Cutler, being one of our oldest settlers here was well known by most of our people, respected by all for her sterling and womanly qualities and sympathized with in her years of suffering. She will indeed be missed by her family and neighbors, whom she was ever ready to assist in what ever way lay in her power to do. The husband and children have the sympathy of the entire community in their loss of a beloved wife and mother.

CARD OF THANKS
We desire to thank our friends for the many acts of kindness and sympathy which were extended to us during the last illness and death of our beloved wife and mother.
