Margrit Kohlmann Baerman passed away peacefully on the morning of June 22 in her home at the age of 92.

Like her late husband Henry "Heinz" Baerman, Margrit was a Holocaust survivor, having dealt with the Nazi regime in Germany and elsewhere in Europe from 1933 through 1945.

She was much loved and respected and will be missed by many.

Margrit was married for 67 wonderful years to her husband Heinz.

She is survived by her daughter Ruth (James Sullivan), son Jeffrey (Sally), grandchildren Jensine and Elliot Baerman, and many friends and relatives.

Funeral services Friday, June 24, 11 am at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette.

Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, 4301 W. Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, www.ilholocaustmuseum.org.
