Born in Pottsville, Jan. 9, 1935, he was a son of the late Raymond and Arlene Hollenbush Killian.Wilbur was the husband of Mary E. Hayes Killian.
He served in the Army and was a member of Schuylkill Lodge 138 F&AM and the Pines Gun Club.
He was employed as a crane operator at Wiener's Iron and Metal. He also worked at the Blue Mountain High School as a bus driver and custodian and NAPA auto parts as a delivery man.
Wilbur was predeceased by brothers, Raymond and Russell; sisters, Nancy Dixon, Violet Dixon and Barbara Neff.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, Shan Killian, Friedensburg, Margaret Killian, Pottsville, Mark Killian, husband of Michele, Schuylkill Haven, Mary Elizabeth Killian, Orwigsburg, Charles Killian, husband of Susan, Auburn, and Melvia Morrow, wife of Craig, Orwigsburg; grandchildren, Patrick Killian, Lindsay Giammaresi, wife of David, Kevin, and Stephanie Killian and Daniel Morrow; sisters, Jane Condrack, Tamaqua, and Ruth Rosenberger, wife of Joe, Pottsville; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda Evangelical Congregational Church, Reedsville, with the Rev. Mark Brooks officiating.
