The 1910 census of Bakersfield, Kern, California, lists R. E. Galloway, wife Lulu M. Galloway, and Lulu's children with George Hessick; Fred Hessick, age 14 born in California, Joseph Hessick, age 12 and Nellie Hessick, age 10, both born in Colorado.

Ralph Galloway was also listed with a wife named Lulu in the 1900 census of Bakersfield, which shows she was born June 1876 in Illinois. They had a son 14 Oct 1896 in Fresno, California who apparently died before 1900. His birth record shows the mother's maiden name as Lulu Erwin.

3) Joseph Dewey Hessick, born in Florence, Fremont, Colorado

4) Nellie M (Hessick) Thayer, b. 1899 in Colorado-d, 28 Sep 1926, Monrovia, Los Angeles County, Cal. Her marriage record to married Byron J. Thayer shows her name as Nellie M. Galloway, so she may have been adopted by stepfather Ralph Galloway, or may have just gone by his name. She has another obituary published 30 Sep 1926 in the same newspaper that lists her surviving brothers, Fred and Joe Hessick.
____________
George Hessick was an oil well driller and was divorced, per his death certificate.

His death certificate and cemetery records do not show his date and place of birth. The 1910 Houston census shows his name as George W Hessick, age 46, oilfield driller, widowed, born in Missouri, parents from Georgia.

The only record available for a George Hessick in Missouri is a marriage record for George Hessick of Fremont, Florence, Colorado to Clara Herbert of Poplar Bluff, Butler, Missouri on November 6, 1883. That person was George Thomas Hessick, born circa 1865 in Illinois to John Hessick from Germany and Mary Ann (Phillips) Hessick. He and Clara had a daughter, Stella, in Colorado in 1885, and they were divorced by 1895.

George Hessick's unmarked grave is located 6 spaces to the right of the Beebe monument, in the plot of Lone Star Lodge #1, I.O.O.F. (originally Houston Lodge #401), per the plot record.
