Funeral services for Frank Elbert "Frankie" Boyte, age 42, of Bastrop, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Petrus officiating. Interment will follow at the Carter Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop.
Visitation with the family will begin Friday evening at 5 p.m. and Saturday morning until service time.
Frank Elbert Boyte was born October 27, 1964 in Bastrop and he died November 8, 2006 at his residence in Bastrop. Frankie is preceded in death by his father Richard "T-Bird" Boyte.
Frankie was a fork-lift mechanic for Bayou Forklift. He was also a charter member of the Morehouse Parish Emergency Response Team. Frankie was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was a friend to many and he never met a stranger.
Frankie Boyte is survived by his wife, Vickie Hayden Boyte of Bastrop, son, Benjy Boyte and wife Abby of Mer Rouge, daughter, Amy Boyte of Bastrop, his mother, Polly Leburn Boyte of Bastrop, brother, Richard Earl Boyte and wife Bonnie of Bastrop, sister, Debbie Wyatt and husband Terry of Bastrop, numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces, a host of cousins, and many friends.
