. B. Chapman, 93, of Littleton, Colorado, who was born July 12, 1913, in Hamburg died Thursday, September 21, 2006, in Littleton. Mr. Chapman received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas and was an attorney, a legislator, government worker, investor, and an entrepreneur.


He was a World War II veteran, a Baptist and a member of the Shriners, Masons, various dance clubs, and the American Legion. He loved to ride his bicycle, ballroom dance, sing, travel, and tend to his sheep.

A. B. married Helen Huish in Denver, Colorado, in 1948, and she died in 1989. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Chapman Lashenko of Alameda, CA, and Willie May Chapman Mills of Little Rock; two sisters-in-law, Areva Huish of Roosevelt, UT, and Betty Chapman of Ventura, CA; nieces Dian Peacock of Tulsa, OK, Floy Bostick of Lake Village, Jo Anne Lubkeman of Bella Vista, Sandy Chapman of Apache Junction, AZ, Pamela Jacobian of La Mirada, CA, Cheryl DuBois of Red Bluffs, CA, and Janet Eaton of Ventura, CA; and nephews Dennis Mills of Little Rock, Ronnie Mills of New Brunsfield, TX, and Chuck Chapman of Ventura, CA.

Burial was in Salt Lake City Cemetery in Salt Lake City, UT. Donations can be made to Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St., Littleton, Colorado 80120.
