Julia June Stokke-Johnston, 88, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006. Julia was born in Greeley, CO on June 14, 1918 to Samuel and Bertha (Bailey) Roark. Julia retired from the VA Hospital after 25 years of service in 1980. Julia was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed. Julia loved life, faith, family and friends and was a joy to be around. Julia was preceded in death by Raymond Stokke, Chester Johnston, and by daughters Barbara Cross and Evelyn Johnston. She is survived by daughter Betty Gresham and husband, Gary of Oklahoma City, son Bruce Stokke and wife, Sheila of Piedmont, 5 grandsons, Charles Cross and wife Kathy and great grandson Jeremy and wife Guinn and great-great granddaughters Alyssa and Kaylee of Oklahoma City, Jon Gresham and wife Christy and great grandsons Michael and Jacob of Lubbock, TX, Henry Gresham and wife Linda and great grandson Matthew and great-granddaughter Megan of Oklahoma City and Pastor Chris Gresham and wife Tiffany and great-grandsons Drew and Nate and great-granddaughter Katie of Amber, OK and Braston Stokke and wife Brooke of Toledo, OH and one granddaughter Amber Stokke of Piedmont, OK. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 at Baggerly Memorial Chapel, 13313 N. Kelley Oklahoma City, OK.
