Robert Corr Posey, age 86, of Gordo, Ala., passed away June 19, 2016, at his residence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Gabrielle Nicole Posey; three sisters; and six brothers.
Robert was born February 11, 1930 in the Kirk community of Pickens County, Alabama to the late Rufus and Ellie Mae Corr Posey.
He was a retired logger, a veteran of the United States Army and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
