UNION: Services for Mrs. Janice H. "Jan" Addy will be held 1 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Conehatta Baptist Church with burial in the Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Anderson and Rev. Mark McDonald will officiate.

Visitation will be held 5-8 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Milling Funeral Home of Union and 30 minutes prior to service on Thursday at Conehatta.

Mrs. Addy, 62, of Decatur died June 18, 2016 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She proudly served 16 1/2 years as Distric 1 Newton County Justice Court Judge for the cities of Decatur and Hickory. Mrs. Addy was a member of Conehatta Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.

Suvivors: Husband of 43 Years: Charles Addy of Decatur

1 Son: Dustin Addy of Newton

2 Sisters: Martha Lois Sharp and husband Ed of Philadelphia and Becky Denning and husband Bob of Bushwood, Maryland

Sister-in-law: Eileen Moss of Marion, MS.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Addy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jewel Hillhouse, step-mother, Elnora Hillhouse and one brother, Johnny Hillhouse.

Pallbearers: Jackie Knight, Joedy Pennington, Gary Seale, Mark Spence, Clay Garvin, Sammy Stevens, Chris Hollingsworth and Freddie Gentry.
