She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Northampton where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a long time member of the 4-H Club, Northampton County. Mabel was a Girl Scout and Leader in Kreidersville and a volunteer in the kitchen for the Allen Township Fire Company.She will be fondly and lovingly remembered by all her family, who will miss all her stories.
Survivors: Daughters Ann L. (James) Brixius, of Schnecksville, PA, and Kay E. (David) Bond, of Pen Argyl, PA; sons Raymond H. (Linda) Lindenmoyer, Jr., of Northampton, PA, and Ted E. (Susan) Lindenmoyer of Northampton, PA; eight grandchildren, Amy and Mark Lindenmoyer, Joel (Kristine) Brixius, Karin (Eliot) Lightner, Ellyn Brixius, Laura (Seth) Krych, Austin and Elizabeth Brixius; three great-grandchildren, Karissa and Colin Brixius, and Everett Lightner. She was predeceased by six brothers, George, Clarence, Allen, Aaron, Warren and Paul; and four sisters, Sadie, Clara, Edna and Mary.
Services: A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Johns U.C.C. CH., 22 Atlas Lane, Northampton, PA. 18067 with a calling hour for one hour prior to the service, all at the church. Rev. Cliffert Herring officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Allen Twp., PA. Arrangements are being handled by the Schisler funeral home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067.
