Mrs. Etta Davis, wife of the late C. L. Davis, died in a hospital in Oklahoma City, on May 28th, where she went for an operation. Mrs. Davis went to Oklahoma a few years ago and was living at Coweta with her sons. At an early age she was united with the Baptist church and was a faithful member to the end. The body was brought back to the old home east of Thayer and buried in the Davis cemetery last Sunday, the services being conducted by Elder Cunningham.
