Marilyn L. Posey, 68, of Chillicothe, died at 11:05am on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at her home. She was born on June 11, 1948, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late George A. and Mary Scott Nolan. On August 30, 1966 she married John David Posey, who preceded her in death on June 16, 2000.
Surviving are her nine children, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, brother of Athens, a special friend, Johnny of Chillicothe, and many special nieces, nephews and very beloved friends.
Marilyn was a member of the first graduating class of Adena High School, in the class of 1966. She worked as a waitress at Bob Evans on Bridge Street, Chillicothe, for 28 years.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, FRANKFORT, with Pastor Paul Winks officiating Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends are invited to visit with the Posey family at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8pm.
