Funeral services for George Earnest Raley, 85, father of Mrs. Ray H. Robinson of 631 Coble in Borger, were held last Tuesday in Alvord. He died last Sunday. In addition to Mrs. Robinson, he is survived by his wife of the home, three other daughters, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

George Ernest Raley, 85, died at his home in Alvord Sunday, November 19, after an illness of about one month.
Raley, a native of Georgia, came to Texas in 1893 and lived at Holland until 1905 when he came to Wise county.
He married Miss Alice Rolston in 1898 and they had two daughters. She passed away in 1904 and in 1914 he married Miss Ozella Collins and two daughters were born to them.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ozella Raley of Alvord; four daughters, Mrs. R.H. Robinson of Borger, Mrs. Archie Nevins, Mars. Joe Hardee and Mrs. S.L. Knight all of Alvord; four brothers, J.B. Raley, L.W. Raley, E.R. Raley and T.B. Raley all of Alvord; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the First Baptist Church in Alvord with Rev. Archie Gregg, pastor, and Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. Interment was in Alvord Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chester Hancock, Meldon Hancock, Tom Clower, Jack Nikirk, Delbert Steph and Robert McDonald all of Alvord.
