She was preceded in death by her parents, F. Earl Foco and Verna Martin Foco.

A native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mrs. Landry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was a 1953 graduate of Lafayette High School, and went on to attend the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now ULL, where she received her master's degree in education. She taught at Carencro High School and the Lafayette Vocational Center, where she primarily taught Home Economics. Mrs. Landry retired from teaching and donated her time as a volunteer with LARC, as well as the Jean Lafitte Center. She was a member of the Krewe of Xanadu, and truly loved the Mardi Gras season, attending many Mardi Gras Balls over the years. She enjoyed needlework, which became one of her vast hobbies, as she attended many stitch groups every week. She also enjoyed her weekly game of Mah-Jong. Mrs. Landry had a passion for traveling and camping regularly in her motor home. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially nurturing and loving her husband, her children, and her grandchildren, which she was always wonderful at. She will always be loved for her special and unselfish ways and will be dearly missed, not only by her family and friends, but by all of those whose lives she has touched throughout the years.
