She was a former school teacher, a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Bell Sr.
Survivors include five children, Charles Bell Jr. of New Albany, John Bell of Frisco, Texas, Christopher Bell of Jeffersonville, Glen Bell of Corydon and Mary Sue Gorseline of Peru, Ind.; a brother, Ralph Ashton of Louisville; a sister, Mary Bierly of Elizabeth; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 31, after 8 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Funeral: Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in Frenchtown.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
