Lewis A Bierly, 72, died Tuesday evening at 9:30 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ivan Sites, Fairfield R1 with whom he resided.
A native of Pennersville, a son of the late John L and Emma McSherry Bierly, he was a retired state highway worker.
Surviving are two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Ivan Sites, Fairfield R1; Mrs. Beatrice Groft, New Oxford and Willis Bierly, Cleveland, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 from the Wilson Funeral Home, Fairfield with Rev. Howard Koons, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
