Herbert "Herb" Flynn, age 96, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. He was a member of Knob Creek Baptist Church. Herb was a barber in downtown Sevierville and a farmer for 40 years. Mr. Flynn was a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gilford and Belle Flynn, and wife Bernice Kathleen Loveday Flynn. Survivors: grandchildren: Travis and wife Christie Flynn, Amy and husband Joey Jones; great-grandchildren: Cooper and Saydie Flynn; son: Eddie Flynn. Special thanks to H.M. Reed, Jr., the Watson family, and Ray Davis for their care of Herb.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Monday with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Terry Parton officiating in Atchley's Seymour Chapel.
