Husband of Mary Lucy Langdon (nee Edwards) Fagan. James served as a Private (Service Nos. 2113 & 1853) with the 8th Battalion, Australian Infantry in Gallipoli, Belgium and France during World War I. He returned to Australia on 7 May 1919 and was discharged from the AIF on 6 July 1919. He died from war related illness, aged 50 years.
