Mitchell Summers Alderman, 83, of White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. was a son of the late Noah and Alcinda Pyles Alderman. He was born in Pocahontas County, W. Va., was a constable for a number of years, and a retired line foreman for Tree Experts. Survivors include four daughters, Freda Wade of White Sulphur Springs, Olga Wade of Alvon, Mabel Hardiman of Charleston, W. Va. and Gunnery Sgt. Dorothy Alderman, stationed with the United States Marine Corps in Arlington, Va.; four sons, Kermit of Vista, Calif., Mason and Kenton, both of Keene, N. H., and Charles Dale Alderman, of Lorain, Ohio; a sister, Goldie Lee of Huntersville, W. Va.; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Burial at Alvon Methodist Church Cemetery.
