Jim Wallace, age 58, of Sand Springs passed away Tuesday evening, October 31, 2006 at his home.

Mr. Wallace was born on July 21, 1948 in Fresno, California the son of Ray E. and Bobbie (Blay) Wallace. He lived in California until the age of seventeen when they moved to Tahlequah. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War. Following his service to his Country he went into the construction business in the Tulsa-Sand Springs areas. He attended the Prattwood Assembly of God Church in Sand Springs and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards and bowling. He also loved football and was a OU Fan. He was united in marriage to Sharen Spaulding in Tulsa.

Jim is survived by his wife Sharen of the home in Sand Springs; one son, Michael Wayne Wallace of Ardmore, Oklahoma; one sister, Barbara Davis and husband Larry of Muskogee; two brothers, Floyd Wallace and wife Sheral of Sand Springs and Glenn Harden and wife Dawn of Sapulpa; step mother, Mary O. Wallace of Tahlequah; step sister, Mary Gail Wallace and husband Lonnie of Sapulpa; step brother, Bobby Mahan of Wagoner; three grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Ford, Haley Wallace and Ashley Wallace; and many other relatives and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Billy Ray Wallace and a niece Wendy Davis.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Prattwood Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Al Hert officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service. Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday morning from 8 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
