Floyd S. Nahm Taken By Death
At Nashville
Floyd S. Nahm, 64, for about 40 years in business in Bowling Green with his brother, Clarence Nahm, died this morning at 6 o'clock at Vanderbilt hospital, Nashville, following a second stroke of paralysis he suffered Tuesday.
Mr. Nahm suffered a first stroke of paralysis about two months ago, and although he had recovered sufficiently to be up he went to Vanderbilt hospital about a week ago and was undergoing treatment there when he suffered the fatal attack.
The body is to leave Nashville tomorrow morning by train for Louisville passing through Bowling Green about 9 a.m. and at Louisville the body is to be taken from the train to the Jewish Adath Israel cemetery for burial.
In addition to his brother, Mr. Nahm is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mose Nahm. The Nahm home is at 615 East Main street.
Mr. Nahm and his brother were engaged in the operation of the Nahm Brothers dry good store for about 35 years, and for about five years they had been engaged in the operation of the Nahm Brothers Insurance Agency here.
Mrs. Leah Stanard and daughter, Miss Margaret Stanard, of Philadelphia, Pa., arrived in Bowling Green today in preparation for the funeral and burial services.
