The funeral of Perry Wilson Tefft, of Copeland, who died in Bonners Ferry on April 26 of stomach trouble, was held at the chapel of the Stookey Undertaking Parlors, Friday afternoon, the services being conducted by the Rev. A. H. Morton, of the local Methodist church. Many friends of the deceased attended the services and sent or brought flowers expressive of their respect and esteem. Burial was had in the Grandview cemetery.
The deceased was born in Illinois in 1859. He came west when a young man and was married to Emma Belle Guthrie, at Helena, Mont., in June, 1898 (sic). He was in the mining business for many years, coming to Idaho in 1910 and buying a ranch at Copeland. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, a son, residing at Hugo, Mont., a mother, a sister and two brothers residing in Kansas; a sister-in-law, Mrs. E. M. Tefft, of Spokane. The deceased has hosts of friends in this country and all join in extending their sympathies to the mourning relatives.

Perry W. Tefft and Emma B. Lewis (nee' Guthrie) were married on June 5, 1899, at Helena, Lewis and Clark County, Montana. Emma died in Orofino, Idaho in 1940.
