Mrs. Evans retired as a nurse from St. Francis Medical Center and was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Evans, Jr.; and her parents, Mary Louise "Cricket" and Andrew White.
She was survived by three sons, Johnny Evans and wife Sharon, Andy Evans and wife Kathy, and Keith Evans; two daughters, Sue Evans and Diane Evans; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
