Jennie Serena Miller, 87, of Washington, formerly of Peoria, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Rosewood Care Center of East Peoria.

She was born May 27, 1919, in Greenbush, Ill., the daughter of Issac and Lydia Wilson Hendrickson. She married Benjamin F. "Slug" Miller on April 4, 1937, in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca Page of Washington, Gloria Burke of Washington and Barbara (Boyd) Neaveill of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

She was a member of Mount Hawley Community Church in Peoria and was a Sunday school teacher for 25 years. She was a past president of the Women's Missionary Society of her church.

Jennie formerly attended Golden Acres Nazarene Church. She was attending the Grove Community Church in Peoria.

Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
