Kay Bemont, 93, of Olney, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Burgin Manor in Olney.
Kay was born October 2, 1922 in Calcutta, India.
She married Bob Bemont on May 4, 1946.
They met while he was in the service and stationed in Calcutta during WWII. She followed Bob to the United States where she became a U.S. Citizen and lived the remainder of her life here.
Kay enjoyed visiting her siblings and relatives in many different countries. Her granddaughter, Olivia, was the apple of her eye. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Olney.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Bemont and wife Linda of Washington, IL; son, Gary Bemont and wife Tani of Mt. Carmel, IL; granddaughter, Olivia Bemont of Mt. Carmel, IL; sister-in-law, Virginia Ellison of Olney; sister-in-law, Carolyn Bemont of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and one sister.
