Arthur "Jack" Lamb, age 61, died May 16, 1972, in a Franklin Hospital after an apparent heart attack that followed injuries sustained in a car-truck accident near the Triune community.

Services were held at Lawrence Funeral Home with burial in Triune Cemetery.

Mr.Lamb was a carpenter for Cumberland Valley Paving Co., Nashville, TN.

Mr. Lamb was a son of the late James Longshore and Mary Ella Eady Lamb.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Phillips Lamb; son, James Thomas Lamb, Nashville; daughter, Mrs. James (Evelyn) Winters, Arrington; two stepsons, Paul Jett & Howard Jett both of Thompson Station; a step-daughter, Mrs. George Haynes, Eagleville; three brothers, Hughes Lamb, Eagleville; John Lamb and Jesse Lamb, both of Holtland Community; four grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and a great grandchild.


Note: His 1st wife, Pauline Chick married 2nd to Kenneth Rawls

Parents: James Longshore Lamb (b.3-9-1875, d. 8-27-1956), buried Holts Corner Cemetery, married Mary Ella Eady (b. 9-23-1874, d. 3-23-1955) daughter of William and Narcissis Jane Ray Eady.
