PRESTON SAMUEL JEFFERSON
December 5, 1905 ~ December 4, 1976

Preston Samuel Jefferson, 70, died Saturday night in his home in Bethel.

Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Kulli-Chito Presbyterian Church in Bethel with the Revs. Issac James, Eli Samuels and Gene Wilson officiating.

Burial was to be in Kulli-Chito Cemetery under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.

Jefferson was born Dec. 5, 1905 in Ringold and had lived in the Bethel area all his life. He was a retired employee of the Oklahoma Forestry Division and was a member of the Kulli-Chito Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Annie; five sons, Elliston Jefferson of Pickens, Hugh Jefferson of Bethel, Sies Jefferson of Broken Bow, Truman Jefferson of Bethel and Randall Jefferson of Detroit, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Bond, Mrs. Sarina Ward and Mrs. Lucy Myers, all of Bethel; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Carterby of Wright City and Mrs. Bond of Bethel; 34 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
