Life Legacy
Esias J. Jefferson, 69 of Pickens, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 at his home.
He was born June 1, 1940 in Bethel, the son of Preston and Annie (Noahubi) Jefferson.
Esias was a member of the Kulli Chito Presbyterian Church in Bethel. He enjoyed reading, going to gospel singings, and spending time with family and friends.
Esias is preceded in death by his parents; his two daughters, Beverly Jefferson, and Theresa Colbert; a son, Jerry Dean Jefferson; two sisters, Maecine Bond, Serena Ward; two brothers, Hugh P. Jefferson, Sr. and Elliston Jefferson.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Jefferson, of Bethel; a son, Franklin Jefferson of Bethel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ramona and Charles Willis of Broken Bow, OK; Phyllis and Elias Roberts, Jr. of Broken Bow; two brothers, Truman and Randall Jefferson both of Idabel, OK; one sister, Lucy Sanchez of Longview, TX; sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Mary Jane Jefferson, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Kulli Chito Presbyterian Church in Bethel with Rev. Clelland Willis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Kulli Chito Cemetery.
