Anstett, Joseph:
Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, June 11th, 2014 at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of the late Lenore Anstett (2011). Loving father of Robert Anstett of Waterloo, John Anstett (Sylvia) of Cambridge, and Gary Anstett (Sheila) of Kitchener.
Cherished grandfather of Neil, Joey (Lana), Dan (Barbara), Jeff (Lindsay), Josh (Merry), Kaitlin (Jason), Billy (Tara), Zack (Allison) and Greg; great grandpa of Noah, Leo, Colby, Eli, Dominik and Anthony. Dear brother of Joan (Bev) Rankin.
Predeceased by his granddaughter Sarah, daughter-in-law Marg, his parents, Joseph and Amelia Anstett, his 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
He was a WWII veteran and a member of Waterloo RCL Branch #530.
Joseph's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm with the Royal Canadian Legion service at 6:45pm. Joseph's Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 10:00am. Interment Woodland Cemetery followed by a reception at the St. Anthony Daniel Parish Life Centre.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
