Mrs. W. H. Litzenberger passed away at her home at Norwood, Saturday morning at 7:40 o'clock following an illness of a little more than a year. Margaret Matilda Peterson, daughter of Peter and Catherine Peterson, was born at their country home northeast of Norwood, May 17, 1872, passing away at the age of 66 years, three months and 19 days. On February 10, 1892, she was united in marriage to William H. Litzenberger, who passed away February 8 1937. To this union were born five children. One son, Virgil, passed away january 3, 1928. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. mary Bennett of Aledo; Mrs. Nellie Vernon of Fairfield, Iowa; Mrs. Alice Campbell of Norwood and Miss Esther Litzenberger at home. She is also survived by two brothers, John Peterson of Galva and Charles Peterson of Milan. Her parents and three sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Litzenberger has for years been a member of the Norwood Presbyterian church. The deceased was a loving wife and mother, devoted to the interests of her family; a kind and thoughtful neighbor and friend and will be greatly missed in the community, which has so long been her home. Funeral services were held from the Norwood church Tuesday afternoon with John Lugg of Monmouth in charge, assisted by Rev.
