Cecil Brent Lane, age 70, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2006, at the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on August 13, 1936 in the Lindsay area. He married Jewel Lawanda Jensen in Lindsay, Oklahoma on March 10, 1956, His parents were Cecil J. Lane and Ida Lucille Bridwell Lane. Mr. Lane lived in Moore, Oklahoma for 42 years. He was a police officer in Lindsay, Purcell, and Moore, Oklahoma as well as a business man. He was saved in the Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Lane is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Brenda Horn.
He is survived by his wife: Jewel(Wanda)Lane; a son: Barry Lane of Moore, Oklahoma; a brother: Jerry Don Lane and wife Linda of Alex, Oklahoma and his grandchildren: Jason, Joshua, Jacob, and Jeremy Horn all of Moore, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at the Erin Springs Baptist Church in Erin Springs, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Erin Springs Cemetery in Erin Springs, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
