Barbara J. Andrews, 66 of Butler passed away on June 1, 2016 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born September 18, 1949 in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of Chester Asplin and Janet (Barnhart) Asplin.

She worked as an attendance secretary for Knoch High School, retiring after 25 years. Barbara was a member of Summit Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Monday Night Women's Group, and on the library and flower committees. She was very proud that she received her Associate's Degree from Butler County Community College while working. Barbara loved bottle feeding her orphan lambs on her farm.

She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Andrews, who she married January 5, 1971, her parents of Butler, her sons, Christopher (Melissa) Andrews of Memphis, TN and David (Kimberly) Andrews of Butler, 4 grandchildren; Cassidy, Molly, Delaney and Eli Andrews, sisters, Carol (Richard) Achezinski-Solak of Evans City and Karen (William) Cranmer of Butler, brother in law, Richard (Dawn) Andrews of Butler, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother in law and father in law, LeRoy and Jane Andrews.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc., 410 W. Main Street, Saxonburg.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Tom R. Jones officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Summit Presbyterian Church, Library Fund, 181 Caldwell Drive, Butler, PA 16002.
