The oldest of three children born to Ulas Henry and Mollie (Couch) Solomon in Tennessee. She married Waldo Hill on Dec. 24, 1941. They lived in Missouri, Austin and San Antonio, Texas. They had one daughter, Beverly Jean Hill, who died of ovarian cancer and is buried in this cemetery. Beverly was married to Jerry Clay (1947-1974).
Audrey graduated from Durham's Business College in 1942. She also attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri for two years and Austin Community College.
Audrey was active in First Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas, with WMU and the clothing ministry. She was also participated in the Volunteer Council at the State Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and son-in-law and her brother, Ulas 'Sprout' Solomon and his wife, Betty.
Audrey is survived by her sister, as well as nephews and their wives plus a niece.
