Probable burial, as he was living here when he died and his brother-in-law James Rutherford had been buried here in 1833, as was his sister Martha Eades Rutherford Farris in 1874. Thomas died sometime between 1840 and 1850.

Son of Thomas Eades and Priscilla West Eades.

He married on 27 Jan 1826 to Elizabeth West [b. 1799, Bourbon Co., KY; daughter of Simon West (son of John West and Rachel Perry) and Elizabeth Hopkins].

Thomas Eades and Elizabeth West were first cousins once removed. Thomas's brother Asa married Elizabeth's sister Cynthia.

In 1908, Elizabeth's nephew Simeon Henry West wrote an autobiography in which he gave his family history as he knew it and stated that his Aunt Elizabeth died in Kansas City, Missouri without mentioning that she lived for many years in St. Louis. As there's no evidence that she or Thomas ever went to Kansas City, which was a small town at the time, this appears to have been mistaken:

Life and Times of S.H. West: With an Appendix on Evolution, Religion and ...1908
By Simeon Henry West [son of Henry; son of Simeon, son of John Jr.]
"Elizabeth West married Thomas Eades, a brother of Asa, lived a long time in Paris and Lexington, Kentucky, and died in Kansas City, Missouri."
