Mrs. Boyer was born and reared in Stamford, TX. She married Henry Clay Boyer in 1939 in Abilene. He died in 1962. She moved to Abilene in 1935. She worked for Jack Duncan Plumbing for 10 years. She worked for Thunderbird Lodge for eight years and was a telephone operator for Hendrick Medical Center for 10 years. She was a 50-year member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brother and four sisters.
Survivors include her son, Duncan Boyer of Abilene; and one stepdaughter, Cleo Meek of Fort Pierce, FL.
