He and his wife Pauline A. "Polly" Myers Graybill celebrated 52 years of marriage.

He was born in Refton, the son of the late Roy G. and Esther Shaubach Graybill. Doc was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying duck and deer hunting, fishing, and working in his garden. Mr. Graybill was a former Strasburg Little League baseball coach. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Strasburg.

He served in the Korean Conflict with the US Army Corps of Engineers, 24th Infantry Division.

He was first employed by the former Queen Dairy for 16 years where he drove a milk delivery route. He then worked as an insurance agent for 5 years and his last employment was as a machinist for Black and Decker for 16 years.

Surviving beside his wife are a son, R. Martin, married to Kay Rice Graybill of Strasburg; three daughters, Deborah L., married to Daryl E. Batdorf of Columbia; Wendy S., married to Stephen P. Voulopos and Shelby R., married to Andrew J. Nauman, both of Lancaster; 6 grandchildren; and a sister, Janet, married to Donald Arment of Lancaster.
