Frank Thomas Clowes, 68, of Parks Township, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, in his residence. The son of the late Kenneth Frank and Hazel (Faulk) Clowes, he was born Nov. 4, 1947, in New Kensington, Westmoreland County. For more than 40 years, Frank worked in the auto parts industry. During that time, he had been manager of A&G Auto Parts in Elderton and owner of Frank's Auto Parts in Holiday Park, Gibsonia and Vandergrift. Frank was of the Lutheran faith and member of the F&AM Kiskiminetas Masonic Lodge No. 617, of Vandergrift. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and bowling. Survivors include his son, Frank K. Clowes, of Maryland; two sisters, Hazel Myers, of California, and Kathy Munko (Joseph), of Leechburg; a niece, Patty Cline (Jeff), of Leechburg; two nephews, Joseph Munko (Kim), of Freeport, and Bob Munko (Tonya), of Leechburg; Ruth Clowes, of Leechburg; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be welcomed by his family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, at CLAWSON FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, where funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, with the Rev. Richard Grance officiating. Interment will be following in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1030 Pleasant Hill Road, Allegheny Township.
