"MRS. VANDA PAHLKE
Mrs. Vanda Pahlke, 60, died at her home at 603 N. State street Friday afternoon after an illness of about a week.

She was born in Osborn July 18, 1898, and lived in Appleton most of her life. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church.

Friends may call at Brettschneider Funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until 10 a.m. Monday, then at the church until services at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Chester Lau, Menasha, and Mrs. George Rosenthal and Miss Jo Ann Pahlke, both of Appleton; seven sons, Earl, Elmer, Lawrence and Armin Barth, all of Appleton, Clifford Barth, Kaukauna, Kenneth Barth, Little Chute, and Ronald Pahlke, Appleton; two brothers, Arnold and Walter Wenzlaff, both of Appleton; five sisters, Mrs. Malinda Steiner and Mrs. Arlyn Craven, both of Appleton, Mrs. Joseph Klarner, Black Creek, Mrs. Frank Ortz, Chicago, and Mrs. Ray Seigel, Miamisburg, Ohio; 27 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren."
