HATCHER, FANNIE IDELLA, 60 - of Chesapeake, VA, formerly of Whitesboro, suddenly on September 15, departed this life at the Sentary General Hospital, Norfolk, VA. Mrs. Hatcher was born April 11, 1946 in Belle Glade, FL. and was the daughter of the late Ruby Kate Johnson. At an early age she moved to Whitesboro and attended Middle Twsp. Public Schools. She met and married her husband of 38 years, Albert W. Hatcher. Fannie was a caring, giving and energetic person who always had something to talk about. She was a former member and usher of the St. Stephens AME Church Whitesboro and member of Grove Baptist Church Chesapeake. She leaves to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, her children Calvin Cooper, Angie Cooper, Albert, Jr.(Etta) and Francine Shann, sisters Lilly Bell Mabry, Debra Fitzpatrick, 10 grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday September 23, 2006 at the Christ Gospel Church with Bishop E.D. Robinson, officiating. Interment was held in the Household of Ruth Cemetery, Whitesboro. Services were entrusted to Edwards and Son Funeral Homes, Inc. Bridgeton and Salem.
