"Ralph Bruce Jr., 73, died 14 Feb 1988 at Miller's Merry Manor. He was a native of Brooklyn and had lived in Fort Wayne for 55 years. He retired in 1969 after 24 yrs with ITT, where he was plant engineer. He also worked ten yrs as a credit manager for Essex International. He was a WW II Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Frances W.; one son, Robert E., of Fort Wayne; one sister, Elizabeth B. Bruner, of Hagerstown; and a grandson. Burial was at Buena Vista Cemetery."
