Bob was born in Flint, MI on July 30, 1924, son of the late George and Florence (Hodgkinson) Vohwinkle. He married Irene M. Seelau in January 1950 and she preceded him in death on March 14, 1988. Bob married Cleo B. Barr on September 6, 1990 and she preceded in him in death on March 31, 2015. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. Bob was an active member of Davison First Baptist Church where he was one of the head ushers, lovingly known to many as “The Candy Man”. He worked for McCloy Paper Co. in sales.
Bob is survived by his sister, Gloria (Ken) Watters; brother, Ralph (Nancy) Vohwinkle; step-children, Patsy Poisson, Connie Lockwood, Debbie Salgat, Kelly Nelson; nieces and nephews, Robyn (Jeff) Provost, Judy (Dave) Love, Joe (Lana) Vohwinkle, Kim (Rob) Smith, Craig (Gerry) Vohwinkle, Jeff Vohwinkle. He was preceded in death by his brother, George (Reta) Vohwinkle.
